A Winery Wedding for the Williamsons
Updated: Jul 23, 2019
Wine country in Virginia created the perfect backdrop for this wedding. Chanel Williams and Bryce Williamson had a gorgeous wedding filled with personality, with a dusty rose and ivory floral palette that complemented Stone Tower Winery perfectly.
For a fun spin on a classic white bouquet, we brought in some light mauve tones and cascading greenery. Nails matching the roses is the cutest detail.
Airy, delicate white scabiosa stole the show in the bridesmaids' bouquets.
Obsessed with these adorable ringbearers. For kids, we do our boutonnieres with magnets to avoid running the risk of pin injuries!
This wild, whimsical arch set the scene for this outdoor ceremony. We made this arch out of curly willow, white delphinium, and our dear friend smilax. Full discretion- it was 95 degrees on this June day, and we were a little scared of how the delphinium would hold up. We put them in as close to the ceremony start time as possible, and they held up despite the heat!
Decorating with a mix of traditional and geometric gold lanterns allowed us to include the romance of candle-lit lanterns, but with a hint of modern flair.
The head table enjoyed a eucalyptus garland, complete with pillar candles, bud vases, votives and cut blooms woven in.
The rest of the tables had beautiful, lush tall centerpieces.
We make our toss bouquets with hydrangea and mixed greenery. Bouquets can be surprisingly heavy, and we don't want anyone getting knocked out by a rogue bouquet! Hydrangea is very light, and makes a much safer flying bouquet.
