Passport to Tuscany
On Friday we had the pleasure of setting up an incredibly lush and lavish tablescape for a birthday party at Cafe Milano. The birthday was Tuscan themed, and we ran with the idea by incorporating citruses, vivid warm tones, and wild greenery.
By the time we were done setting up and started heading back to the shop, we were all craving a summer trip to the Italian countryside, chilled wine in hand. If saturated colors and luxury are your thing, then you're in for a treat. Side effects may include daydreaming...
We had a lot of fun with the citrus motif, and added lemons and oranges everywhere we could - both tucked in between the vases and votives, and directly in the arrangements.
The intensity of the free spirits against the muted gold on the aged-finished vase felt like a match made in heaven.
Coral charm peonies and yellow double tulips definitely steal the show here with their layered luscious texture. The hexagonal lanterns felt like a fun modern update to the urn's traditional style.
We are now accepting invites to all birthday parties that look like this!! Thanks in advance ;)
