WEDDING FAQ
How do I schedule an appointment?
Please fill out our Wedding Questionnaire; it will be sent straight to our wedding design team, and one of us will reach out ASAP to schedule an in-person consultation. Unfortunately, as a busy floral studio, we aren’t able to accommodate walk-in consultations.
How far before my wedding date should I first meet with you?
We recommend that you wait to meet with us until after you’ve booked your venue; the venue can shape many of the floral details of a wedding. We find that we meet with most of our couples for the first time between six and twelve months before their wedding, but there are plenty of exceptions. Our calendar does fill quickly, so the further we are from your wedding, the more likely we are to be available on your wedding date!
Who should I bring to the consultation?
Our consultations are detailed conversations that generally last around an hour; we recommend bringing just one or two people, or coming by yourself.
How can I prepare for the consultation?
What we love to see at consultations is lots of visual information about your wedding! Please email us your Pinterest board, if you have one, or any other pictures that are inspiring the look of your wedding, floral or otherwise; we also love venue floor plans, linen swatches, and pictures of the bridal gown and bridesmaids’ dresses We also recommend every couple look over our Wedding Pricing Guide.
How much should I budget for my wedding flowers?
It’s often said that that flowers will cost ten percent of your wedding budget; while we have found that to be a useful general guideline, every wedding is different. For more information about our wedding pricing, please see our Pricing Guide.
How can I maximize my wedding flower budget?
If budget is your primary consideration, please let us know as we begin working together; we can offer recommendations for any budget!
Popular ways to maximize your wedding budget include picking your wedding flowers up from our studio, eliminating delivery and installation fees; and returning rental items to our studio yourselves, or using simple glass vases that don’t need to be returned, eliminating the end-of-event pick-up fee.
It is also true that the more flexibility our design team has in flower selection, the more easily we can accommodate any budget; to keep costs down, consider providing just a color palette and general look, and allowing our designers to select in-season blooms to create that look within your budget.
Do you offer wedding services beyond floral design?
We are a boutique floral design studio, and that is our primary focus; however, if you’re still looking for non-floral design elements for your wedding, please ask! If it’s not something we do, we can usually recommend a wonderful, trusted local vendor.
