Disclaimer: Plants will vary in appearance from what is pictured above. Plants may differ in height, number of leaves, or maturity. We are very careful with packing and handling our plants, however it is the responsibility of the purchaser to promptly unpack, plant and care for the plants appropriately once they arrive. If you have an issue with your plant, please call our shop within 2 weeks and we’d be happy to remedy the situation. Due to the living nature of the plant, Helen Olivia is unable to issue a refund or replacement after 2 weeks time.

Care Instructions: Store in bright, indirect sunlight; avoid direct sun. Water only when the soil is dry and drain excess water thoroughly.

Each order includes a local delivery fee that is determined based on the final delivery address. This fee applies to each order and address, and may vary for deliveries outside our local delivery area, when applicable.

To ensure same-day delivery for U.S. orders, they must be received before 12:00 noon local time. Any orders received after that time will be delivered the following day, or on a future date specified on the order form.

For international orders, we kindly request that you call our shop directly to place the order. We are unable to accept international orders via our website.

Specific Timing: While we understand the desire for specific delivery times, we cannot guarantee them due to many factors, such as the notorious DC traffic. However, for an additional fee over our standard delivery charge, we are happy to accommodate specific time requests when able. You can indicate your desired time frame on the order form or provide instructions in the special instruction box.

When Nobody is Home: If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, we will make every effort to contact them by phone, unless you have provided specific instructions on the order form regarding if or where the arrangement can be left. If we are unable to reach you or the recipient, we may leave the delivery in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve later or leave a message for them to arrange for a time to redeliver. Should you have any urgent requests, please feel free to call us directly and someone from our team will be happy to handle your request in person.

Cancellation Policy for Retail Flower Orders

At Helen Olivia Floral Design, we understand that circumstances may arise which require you to cancel your flower order. We strive to accommodate such situations while also ensuring a fair policy for both parties. Please take note of the following cancellation policy:

  1. Cancellation Period:
    • Orders can be cancelled up to the day before the scheduled delivery or pick-up date.
  2. Cancellation Process:
    • To cancel an order, please contact our team via email at [email protected] or by phone at 703-548-2848. Provide the order number, client name, or recipient name for verification.
  3. Refund or Store Credit:
    • For orders cancelled within the specified cancellation period, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method or a store credit can be arranged, based on your preference.
  4. Late Cancellations:
    • Cancellations requested after the specified period may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the order total. This fee is necessary to cover the cost of materials and labor that have already been invested.
  5. Same-Day Orders:
    • Orders placed for same-day delivery may not be eligible for cancellation, as preparations for these orders begin immediately upon placement.
  6. Custom or Special Orders:
    • Custom arrangements or special orders may have specific cancellation policies, which will be communicated at the time of order placement.
  7. Substitution Policy:
    • In the event that specific flower varieties are unavailable due to seasonal or other factors, we may need to make substitutions to maintain the overall design and quality of the arrangement.

Please understand that this policy is in place to ensure the quality and timely delivery of our products to all our valued customers. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
